Thirty-two years ago, UAB Linas ir Viza – the first company of our Group, was established. AB Akola Group currently operates the largest agricultural and food production group in the Baltics, comprising 69 subsidiaries and two associates and employing almost 5 thousand people. As of the 17th of February 2010, the company has its primary listing on Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange.
We operate along the entire food production chain from farm to fork, producing, preparing, and marketing agricultural and food products and providing goods and services to farmers.
The core products we produce and sell are grain, oilseed, compound feed, feed materials and additives, milk, poultry meat and poultry products, flour and flour products, instant food, pet food, veterinary pharmaceuticals, and goods to the farmers.
We are one of the largest exporters of Lithuanian grain and have a network of modern grain storage facilities in Lithuania and Latvia.
We are the largest poultry meat producer in Lithuania and Latvia and own both countries’ best-known poultry meat brands.
We are a significant milk producer in Lithuania and have the most efficient dairy farms.
We are one of the leaders in Lithuania in supplying production to farmers – certified seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products, and agricultural machinery. We also have a seed processing plant, install grain and dairy complexes, and intelligent farming systems.
We are a leader in the production of instant foods in the Baltic States.
