The Azzoni Group has its roots in the Pegognaga area, where it was born as a family of farmers and breeders, custodians of the Mantua tradition . For several generations we have dedicated ourselves with respect, passion and care to the processing of pork , from which we obtain excellent quality gastronomic products. We do this in full respect of ancient recipes , investing every year in new equipment that allows us to operate with cutting-edge technologies with low environmental impact.

A passion , the one that distinguishes the Azzoni Group , supported by the commitment of the family, by the skills and professionalism of all the collaborators: qualities that can be tasted in every single product since 1980. From the Mantuan salamella to the pancetta, up to the pesto risotto and cotechino. These are the secret heritages of which we are proud.
For over 40 years we have been passing down from father to son the love for the profession, as well as the passion for cured meats, Mantuan food and wine and craftsmanship. Attention to quality that allows us to produce sausages in total safety every day, giving life to unmistakable flavors and fragrances, also thanks to selective control of the raw material.
A story of renewal
40 years after the birth of the company by the founders Ivo and Ianette, in 2020 the Azzoni Group invests in the family shop, renovating what was in everyone’s memories the initial shop. Thus was born LA BOTTEGA, a contemporary concept store that selects and offers quality products and pearls of Italian food and wine, in a welcoming, warm and familiar environment where you can enjoy authentic gastronomic experiences. A new way of understanding the shop: not only a place to buy the best quality meats and cured meats , but also a space to offer the best tastings of our products.

The family has its roots in the Pegognaga area and for several generations has dedicated itself with respect, passion and care to the processing of pork, from which excellent quality products are obtained in full respect of traditions, investing every year in new equipment that allows us allow you to operate with cutting-edge technologies. Since 1980 we have passed down from father to son the love for this profession, the passion for cured meats and craftsmanship, which has been ours for over 40 years. The production recipes for Mantua salami, pancetta and salamella are secret heritage of which we are proud. The maintenance of ancient recipes, combined with the search for new products and the use of latest generation equipment, has made it possible to give the sausages qualitative safety, unmistakable flavors and fragrances, thanks also to selective control of the raw material and strict analytical standards .
The Azzoni family has been able to grow professionally and has seen its turnover increase, so the need arose to expand what was initially a family business to reach today’s industrial reality. Currently, over 700 tons of fresh, exclusively Italian pork are processed every month and the delicatessen produces over 30 different cured meats.
