FAM Reti was born in Forlì, one of the most important Italian upholstered furniture districts, in 1977 when the brothers Franco, Quinto and Daniele Alessandrini decided to take a dream by the hand and project it towards the future.
The Alessandrini brothers have been working in the furniture sector since they were young, for them metal slats and accessories have no secrets so, with experience and desire to sell behind them, they founded FAM. Franco and Quinto scrupulously follow the production process, while Daniele, in addition to the technical aspect, takes care of relationships with customers, putting their satisfaction first.
Hence the idea of specializing in what will become the company’s true strong point: bed bases customized in size, shape, materials and paint colours. And it is precisely the customization, combined with the high quality and craftsmanship of the products, that allow FAM not only to stand out on the market, but also to forge important and lasting collaborations with numerous hotel structures on the Riviera and with some of the most important furniture factories of the Forlì district, marking the birth of a strong bond with the territory.
Family is also of great importance and, as the family grows, so does FAM Reti. The love for the profession is passed on to their children who, guided by the experience of Quinto and Daniele, enter the business sharing its philosophy and objectives: attention to the customer, best value for money, craftsmanship, constant innovation and technological research, but above all passion in wanting to guarantee good rest and sweet dreams to those who choose FAM networks
Production
Each network is the result of 40 years of experience in the sector and a fortunate encounter between innovation and tradition.
The hands of our craftsmen, rough and with the skilled calluses of those who have known and loved the trade for generations, together with the smell of welded iron and freshly cut wood, are the characteristics that make our company unique and that translate into the craftsmanship and quality of handmade products one by one.
The company is divided into two areas, one for iron processing and one for wood processing, which allow us to follow all the product processing phases internally, from cutting to welding and painting of the frame, up to the assembly of the slats and product packaging.
From raw iron to the finished product ready for delivery, the entire creative process develops within the company:
the iron rods are cut and bent
we then move on to welding the frame
the painting is carried out with ecological epoxy powder paint and baked in the oven in full respect of the environment
slats made of beech or birch wood are mounted on the frame
the net is packed with cellophane and cardboard
the finished network is delivered to the customer
Quality
The entire production process is designed to offer our customers a long-lasting and excellent product which, by enhancing the qualities of a good mattress and guaranteeing correct support for the body, is able to ensure the best possible rest.
Attention to detail is our added value, every single net is made using exclusively selected high quality and healthy raw materials, controlled and certified in compliance with European regulations.
The iron rods are strictly Made in Italy, while the beech and birch wood with which we make our slats is imported from Germany.
Furthermore, our products are eco-sustainable, all processing phases are designed to minimize environmental impact by using only ecological materials.
