There are very few Italian companies that can boast 100 YEARS OF HISTORY: Minardi is one of these. In fact, it was 1916 when Luigi Minardi decided to found a small artisan business aimed at processing and trading feathers.
At the beginning our company selected and produced ornamental feathers intended for the army’s Bersaglieri, but with a nod to Parisian high fashion for which it supplied accessories for the first collections shown on the catwalk.

Development of modern technologies while maintaining quality
An ancient heart that has been able to transfer knowledge from generation to generation with a soul devoted to the preservation of quality and the development of modern technologies. Active both in Italy and abroad, our company chaired the European Union Technical Committee TC 222 to draft the European legislation governing the treatment of feathers. Furthermore, it was a sponsor of the Brussels Working Group on the technical requirements for the hygienic state of feathers and feather-filled articles (washing, sterilization and labelling).

NAME
The NOMITE ® brand confirms that you have chosen well. The bedding items, padded with feathers and down offer favorable thermal and climatic conditions for humans (rapid development of heat during sleep, rapid release of humidity during ventilation) and at the same time present a very unfavorable habitat for house mites. dust, which depend on humidity.

SAN PRO CARE
The fabrics used are subjected to the SanProCare treatment , a finishing carried out on the most exclusive fabrics, capable of increasing the breathability and thermoregulation of the duvet, both fundamental factors for making the performance of the padded product efficient and significantly extending its life.
RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD
Responsible Down Standard is an independent and voluntary global standard that tracks the entire supply chain, from farm to finished product.

B SILVER AG+
B silver Ag+ is a process that allows the antibacterial properties of silver to be used in the manufacture of fabrics: an infinitesimal quantity of silver is dispersed in a perfectly uniform way within the molecular chains that make up the textile fibres, giving rise to the continuous release of silver ions which counteract the development of bad odors and preventing the proliferation of bacteria and dust mites.
EDFA
The Minardi Industries company is a member of EDFA (European Down and Feather Association). Our company has decided to be an integral part of the animal protection project promoted by EDFA (European Association of Down Filled Producers) in order to guarantee adequate treatment of geese, avoiding and condemning the plucking of live animals. The members belonging to EDFA have in fact committed to applying a documented traceability system and respecting a code of conduct which prohibits the purchase and processing of down and feathers obtained in a manner different from the law, or from mistreated animals. The origin of the down and feathers is recorded in a documentation system called EDFA TRACEABILITY STANDARD, a system developed by the Association committee in agreement with auditing experts which allows documenting the origin of feathers and down purchased from bird farms originating from EU states, Council of Europe countries and third countries. Since the introduction of this system, suppliers must certify that their materials come from food farms where plucking takes place after slaughter or obtained during the biological phenomenon of moulting (ecdysis). EDFA member companies undertake to undergo audits carried out by experts from neutral organizations (IDFL) on a regular basis in order to verify the correctness and truthfulness of the data declared. Our products are made with feathers that do not come from live animals.
IDFL
Once the entire production cycle has been completed, all our padding is periodically analyzed by the IDFL institute (International Down and Feather Laboratory & Institute), an independent international body with headquarters in Salt Lake City (USA) which determines the full conformity of the product.
SANITIZED
Sanitized is an anti-mite, antifungal and antibacterial treatment that is used to make the fabric hypoallergenic and hygienic. In addition to being a powerful anti-mite, Sanitized acts as an anti-odorant, actively counteracts the development of sweat odor and keeps fabrics fresher, longer. The Sanitized treatment is completely harmless to the skin as verified by strict dermatological tests, is harmless to the environment, does not contain Triclosan and is not mutagenic.

What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers exclusively obvious and objective manufacturing defects deriving from materials and packaging and is valid from the moment of purchase in combination with the receipt and the online registration of the product, which must take place using the form below within the first year of purchase date shown on the receipt.
The products marked with the SILVER label are guaranteed for 2 years, those with the GOLD label for 5 years, for the products of the PLATINUM line we extend the guarantee up to 10 years, while the products that are part of the exclusive JEWEL line, made with the materials finest in the world, they are guaranteed for life.
What does the warranty not cover?
Defects caused by lack of maintenance, natural wear and tear of the product or improper use are not included. Please consider that using the product for a long period may cause a natural loss of volume of the feathers/down.
Since it is a completely natural product, some of the millions of white flakes may appear slightly darker in color without this being considered a defect.
In products packaged with a “kassetten” system, the guarantee does not cover the movement of the padding from one box to another.
The guarantee does not cover the sporadic presence of down filaments along the seams as it is to be considered physiological and determined by the normal settling of the internal padding.
Damage caused by failure to comply with the washing and/or drying instructions indicated on the product label are also excluded.
How to act in case of a complaint?
If the product has defects in the materials and/or packaging, it will be sufficient to take the product together with the receipt proving the purchase, confirmation of online registration and a description of the defect to the retailer where the purchase was made. purchase.
